Climate: Weather is dry, volatile and can change rapidly. Temperatures vary depending on what part of the country you visit, and whether you are on the water. 

Winter averages: 23 degrees to -22 degrees  

Summer averages: 41 degrees to 59 degrees

Language: Greenlandic, Danish  

Currency: Danish Kroner (DKK) – Best to have cash in DKK. Credit cards are accepted in certain cities but it’s not a given.
