It’s a big morning and I am crossing my fingers.
As many of you know, over the last week I’ve been involved in getting the word out about today’s Global March for Lions to stop canned hunting. The march is taking place all over the world, and it’s the first march I’ve been involved in..ever. I’m excited and I hope it’s a success!
Here’s a clip from Facebook showing today’s Global March for Lions in Johannesburg
I head down to Washington Square Park in just a little while. It starts at 11am and if you’re in the City and can come down, please do.
It would also be great if you could take a moment to sign this petition. It’s asking the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service to put lions on the Endangered Species list. That would make it illegal for hunters to bring their trophies back to the States — and we all know they are less likely to participate if they can’t hang a head on a wall when they’re done.
Thank you to everyone that’s been so supportive.. You’re the best.
