Today is Earth Day, the world’s largest environmental movement.
Considering the mess we’ve made of our planet, it feels good to know that on this day people will unite to bring attention to the needs of our shared home by engaging in environmentally friendly events, including over 160 countries that will sign the Paris Climate Agreement at the U.N. Beginning in 2016, and for the next four years leading up to initiative’s 50th anniversary, the Earth Day Network will focus on planting 7.8 billion trees worldwide.

If you don’t have room in your backyard to plant a tree, or like moi you don’t have a backyard, you can donate to the Canopy Project which has planted over three million trees in over 32 countries in the last five years.
In celebration of this important day, I wanted to share some images I’ve taken during my travels. Our planet is filled with breathtaking beauty, it is up to us to keep it that way.
