Postcard: Vervet Sunrise

Four years ago, I spent some time in Tanzania. When I first arrived I stayed in Tarangire where every morning vervet monkeys would leap from tree to tree squawking. One morning I noticed it was particularly silent and when I looked up I saw these two enjoying the sunrise. I guess even monkeys need a little zen.

Four years ago I spent some time in Tanzania. When I first arrived I stayed in Tarangire and every morning vervet monkeys would leap from tree to tree squawking and playing and making a racket that would wake the dead. One morning I noticed that it was unusually silent, and when I looked up I saw these two enjoying the sunrise. I guess even monkeys need a little zen.
